e.g. for drum machine plugins such as breaktweaker or Kontakt?

Either it doesn't support this or I can't figure it out!

VST multi-in and -out is panned for version 1.1 and comes as a free update.

It does not support multiple audio or midi outputs yet. I hear they are working on it though.

I could not find a thread that mentioned this has been fixed. I have drumazon and would like to use the multiple outputs to route to individual tracks. I was able to do this in a previous DAW Is this feature still not supported?

Yes! I host the multi-output FL Studio VST in Bitwig and access its output chains by clicking the "Show plug-in multi-out chain selector" button along the top of the device. It has a 2-arrow icon. From there you can add chains for the separate outputs, then use them as inputs to audio tracks, sidechains, everything. :)
