I need to set different tempos for different scenes for performing live, but have not found out how to do it.

For example I want scene 1, 2 and 3 to be played at 85 bpm and scene 4 and 5 to be played at 110 bpm.

How do I attach a given tempo to a scene?

Thanks for any help

Hi,

I also posted the question on the Bitwig forum at KVR. The solution: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=259&t=468068

In Ableton setting the scene's name to a number changes the tempo accordingly. I just tried it in Bitwig 1.3.5 but it did not do anything.

But googling brings up the following way to do it: Convert the master track to a hybrid track by right clicking it and choosing "Convert to hybrid track". Then create a midi clip in the master track where you can automate the tempo and then drag that clip into the scene you want. Note: If you change the tempo this way, it does not automatically revert to the original tempo when launching the next scene (without a clip setting a new tempo).

Hope that helps, Martin
