I'm on WIN10 pro with any U-he VST I can get Bitwig to freeze visually and crash consistently. All I have to do is add any U-he synth and flip thru presets from the P4 and it will happen every time. It also runs ridiculously slow.

If I use only native Bitwig device everything runs great.

I've already been thru Nektar support and have crossed checked this on 2 AMD systems and 1 Intel system. All latest drivers installed for everything triple checked or more.

I've submitted this to support and I'm wondering if anyone else can get this behavior? I need your help to get this reported so this BUG gets squashed. I don't think I'm the only one with this issue, unless my less than year old Panorama P4 is defective?.

I wonder if this is from the U-he preset integration? Can anyone with a similar setup chime in ?

Thanks!!

Robert

I have a P6 and U-he Diva works fine for me...but Sylenth1 crashes everytime. If i remove the midi device, no issues.

I noticed in task manager (on Windows 10) that Bitwig RAM usage skyrockets from 300Mb or so to over 1GB as soon as I add in Sylenth1. The GUI won't even display but will allow midi input and output sound for a bit before crashing Bitwig completely.

It will load fine in Reaper though and integration with the P6 works fine in that....so my guess is it's related to the integration.

EDIT: Too add, I also experienced this issue with the latest demo version of Sylenth1....so feel free to give it a shot yourself if you want
