running on KUbuntu 14.04 -lowlatency Linux 3.13.0-29-lowlatency #53-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Wed Jun 4 21:27:51 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Trying to install packs with the package manager, clicking on "install" gives an error:

"Error installing packages: Not enough space to download and install the packages."

even -stupid idea- starting bitwig with sudo ./bitwig-studio didn't help

Any ideas?

"this is a bug in 1.0.9 and only happens if there was no previous version of Bitwig Studio installed. We're currently uploading 1.0.10 which contains a fix for this. Will be available later this day."

If you still have this (you shouldn't - update to 1.0.10!) - create an empty folder "installed_packages" and inside that another one called "1.0" in Bitwigs application settings directory (that is .BitwigStudio on Linux) - not where your library and projects are stored.
