Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use Roland System-1 as a controller within Bitwig?

Thanks

The System-1 works perfectly for controlling the Roland System-1 VST plugin.

Using the System-1 as MIDI keyboard works ok, as long as you set one of the "Generic MIDI Keyboard" controllers to "SYSTEM-1",

But I haven't been able (yet) to get it to work routing the "SYSTEM-1 CTRL" channel to other VSTs (like the Arturia suite). Non of the Arturia VSTs react to me changing any of the settings. My guess is we will have to write a controller script for the System-1 .....

Regards,

Gerry

I juts managed to get the filter and AMP sliders on the System-1 to control the Arturia ARP 2600 V3 right most sequencer (9/16) sliders. Very cool works because it is possible to set the Artuaria VST plugins into "learning mode".

I used the "MIDI Keyboard" controller, assigned the "SYSTEM-1" (not the controller) to the Bitwig controller and configured it as the input for the track which is running the Arturia ARP plugin.

Nice ;-) Thanks for giving me the idea.
