Hey there,

the title pretty much says it all. My studio pc is offline, so i can't download the sound packages, would be great to get the library from the account page on to download it at home and copy it later somewhere in the directories.

p.s.: the help file doesn't cover that case. p.p.s: sorry if that problem is already covered somewhere else and i didn't found it.

thank you in advance, Donkong

I need the packages as well for a new install on an offline computer in my studio. Is there a place I can download the content packages?

I would pretty much like an answer to this, too. My homestudio-computer isn't offline but has a very limited internet connection and I really would love to have the Artist collection and the Extended collection. (the size of the Essential collection is no problem for my internet connection, but I can't download the rest to the computer Bitwig Studio is installed)

Thanks and best regards

Hi, the simplest way is that you:

  • install bitwig on a computer with full internet access, which is perfectly legal because the license entitles you to three pc
  • on that computer you download the sacred library of everything.
  • you copy the library on the studio computer
  • if you feel uncortable you can remove the authorization to the “transfer computer” from your profile on or continue to use it to upgrade, follow discussions, surf free.

Hi Dear Bitwig Team,

I also have a strictly non online Machine. Would great to get a possibilty to install the Devices and Content offline. Otherwise I don´t know how to work effective with Bitwig.

As I installed Bitwig the first time a few weeks ago, I got Dropouts after the Machine has been connected to the web, for to install the Devices. I was urged to roll back my complete System via an Image, for to get my brave and stable Machine back.. I don´t want to repeat this experience.

If you already have a computer with Bitwig+Content Packages Installed. I guess, you should be able to copy them over to the same location on another computer.....

Installed content is here on my PC: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Bitwig Studio\installed-packages
