Just want to share an overlay that can be used to install Bitwig Studio on Gentoo or Funtoo. You can fetch the overlay and get instructions on github

For those not familiar with Gentoo or Funtoo it is a source code based Linux distribution that allows for adding own contributions to the package manage system that is called overlays. There is a tool call layman to deal with them.

I developed this overlay to avoid messing up my installations and to secure proper upgrades.

Please do open a ticket if something does not work on your computer. I have added the dependences I have found but there might be some that is always installed on my systems so please feed back. I have tested this on Funtoo (almost but not entirely identical to Gentoo) but it shall work well on both. It might even work on Sabayon using portage.

Hey man, I have an overlay as well:

Care to join forces? ;)
