Hello, how do I sample sounds from an external source such as a vintage synthesizer into Bitwig? Thanks!

First of all make sure you have configured your audio interface correctly.

In Bitwig Studio go to Options > Preferences > Audio Under Input Device you select the input of your audio interface that your hardware is connected to.

Once that is done you can start recording in Bitwig Studio. There are different ways to do this, here's how to record to timeline. Create a new Audio Track, then arm it by clicking the red button in the track header. Simply click Record and Play in the transport controls, start playing your hardware synth, and you should start seeing the waveform of the recorded material on the timeline.
