Is there a button I should be pressing to export render as a loop like Ableton has?

Don't know if this answer will help you, because I don't know what you mean with 'render as loop'. But since a clip can be a loop, you could try the following:

  • Select a clip and press bounce on the left in the >Inspector - section Launcher Clip<
  • Or use the CTRL-B command after you selected the clip.
  • Select the clip and rightclick it to get a menu with the option 'Bounce in place' or 'Bounce'. The latter will create a new audiotrack with the audio clip as content.

dont know exactly what you mean. Just bounce it and you can loop it. Easy to loop, just drag the bottom end of the audio clip or select loop in arranger clip in inspection view (Y)

Hey mate, the way Ableton does that loop render is it plays that segment twice and records the second time it is played back.

You can emulate this yourself in Bitwig by:

  1. Selecting the clip you want to loop and draggin the bottom right corner of it so that it loops once.
  2. Select the entire clip you just looped and bounce it
  3. Using the cutting tool, cut the second half of the now bounced clip
  4. Move that to it's own track and export that track by itself

If you wanted to bounce it exactly as it comes out of the master channel, then solo that track and export the master channel.

Hope that help.
