Hi,

I'm using 8-track on Windows 10 64-bit. I am trying to connect an external synth using the hardware instrument module. I was able to configure the midi out portion, but "audio in" doesn't offer any of my two soundcards' audio inputs. Do I somehow have to configure them?

Make sure you set up your audio input in preferences first. Please note that the WASAPI driver doesn't support audio in.

Thanks. I wish that was made more obvious. Switching to ASIO fixes it.

I use bitwig demo version with linux for the moment. I can record hardware instrument easely. Juste "arm" the audio track you want to record. No necessary to use the module.
